Our Own In-House Leadership Training ProgramFor the last 30 years we have offered
Business of People(®) leadership training. Our
program is one where executives and leaders come to Columbus to participate
in this special leadership training program. Held on five Fridays
over a four-month period starting in January, the Business of People(®) training attracts
CEO's, senior leaders, managers, executives and others interested
in this program.
Unlike other leadership training programs we do not assume that you
the participants have the core skills that underlay all leadership
processes. We start by teaching these core skills and making sure
that every participant has the basics. Once we have the basics we
go on to teach you:
- How to develop people
- How to run great meetings
- How to really develop a team
- How to work with resistance
- How to get buy-in
- How to be an agent of change
- and many other parts of the leadership process
If you are looking for a leadership training experience that is truly concrete,
life-changing, and gets at the core skills of leadership and a program that
will truly improve your skills, consider the Business of People(®) training program. It will truly be business/life-changing.
Business of People(®) training is intense, business life-changing immediately applicable, and
widely appreciated.

What a few of our graduates say about Business of People(®) . . .
Sue Jablonski Senior VPP and CCO, Ohio Health
“It is always so hard an to carve out time for personal and professional
development but BOP was definitely worth the effort. One of the lessons
learned is that “leadership is about connection” and connecting with BOP
has not only helped me but also my team and my organization.”
Heather Munsell Director, Operations, MedVet
“Attending the leadership forum early in my professional career provided a
foundation for growth and future development that I did not receive in college.
What I learned from Norman and the BOP is not taught in any college curriculum
including a MBA platform. The tools and knowledge that are gained are truly a
necessity to be successful not only in business, but in everyday life. Any professional
that wants to invest in improving themselves, this is the course they need to attend.”
Roger Dean VP – Treasurer, Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.
“The Business of People(®) experience has enabled me to focus my energy on being
a leader in my organization. Before BOP I thought management was leadership.
I now understand my role as a leader and understand how to develop my team and
prepare them to be future leaders in the organization. I have learned to support my
team and enable them to reach and even exceed their potential. This experience
has changed my work life.”
