WHY CALL BUSINESS OF PEOPLE?
Working
with Norman Shub and the entire crew at BUSINESS OF PEOPLE has been a fantastic ride!
I was quite frankly a little worried at first that the cultural difference between European and US management would decrease
the interest of the program. But I was wrong for two reasons: first the BUSINESS OF PEOPLE group is incredibly culturally
open minded and sensible, second their coaching and teaching are universal and apply to all business systems and beyond.
We had the chance to work with them on several topics ranging from business strategy to manager and executive development.
Our organization has learned tremendously how to implement change, how to pull people upwards, how to work together more
efficiently. The work on our Vision and Strategies has been particularly a great experience for our organization. Almost
every move today is driven towards this ultimate Vision and when we look back to the pre-BOP era, there is one sure thing;
we do not want to go back! Francois Norgrix, President Promotal - France

An organization makes a decision to contact BUSINESS
OF PEOPLE for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is because there
are organizational problems other times its because the leader has
really thought about the fact that he/she is stuck and wants help
in taking the organization to the next level. Sometimes people call
because of a specific issue that the organization would like to
resolve. There are a variety of different situations that arise
in business life that motivate a leader to contact BUSINESS OF PEOPLE.
Among the issues that people talk to us frequently about are:
- How to take your
organization to the next level of success!
- How to change
the culture so that everyone is using the core values to make
decisions and guide behavior!
Many leaders see this a huge business opportunity.
- Deciding that
you would like help in facilitating the development of your executive
team to function at a much higher level in terms of decision making,
strategy, and other executive committee skills and processes
- You have a need
to train your managers and help them develop the core skills of
management or you would like to build the management team to collaboratively
manage your work day to day!
- You are interested
in getting some help in understanding how to do strategic planning,
how to shepherd strategies or get real buy-in for them, how to
roll out strategies so the whole organization is behind it, or
you are interested in learning how to monitor a change initiative
as you try to execute your strategy!
- You would like
to have help in board development, cohesion, and skills
- You are interested
in coaching for yourself to take your own leadership skills to
a higher level or you have people that you would like to see really
grow!
These
are a few of the reasons people contact us and this is not an inclusive
list. If you are thinking about these issues, BUSINESS OF PEOPLE
would love to talk to you about any and all of these processes.
How We Work With You!
When an organization contacts BUSINESS OF PEOPLE for consulting
we have three simple steps to initiate our consultation process.
- Hold an initial
meeting to determine what your concerns are and how we might help
you. We see this meeting as collaboration - a working together
to develop a place to start the process of change.
- Meet with people
in the organization (at all levels if appropriate), to understand how the organization
functions, to gather information, and to begin to become aware
of the organization's strengths and challenges.
- Hold a second
meeting with the leadership (if and when appropriate) to talk
about our organizational consulting process. In that meeting we
once again partner and co-develop an organizational process designed
to help the leader, the management team, the supervisor, or the
CEO to achieve their goals long-term and facilitate foundational
change.
Following
the agreed upon consultation process, the BUSINESS OF PEOPLE staff
works diligently over a long period of time at all levels, depending
upon the nature of the consultation, to help the organization change
and grow!
